This is a sealed NES cleaning kit. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality.
It's all in the name baby! This is a brand new, never opened kit for cleaning your NES connector pins and cartridge pins. The kit contains a black cartridge with a handle which fits into the cartridge slot. A "cleaning card" (which fits into the black cartridge) and a "cleaning wand" for game cartridges is also included.
For the best cleaning, you're supposed to concoct a mixture made up of 1 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol. You then apply the mixture to both sides of the cleaning card with your finger. Using your finger sounds weird, but that's what it says in the manual. Once the cleaning solution has been applied, you put the cleaning card into the black cartridge, then repeatedly insert the cartridge into the cartridge slot 5-10 times. You're supposed to let the slot dry for at least an hour before powering on your NES.
To clean cartridge pins, you'll want to apply this same solution to the cleaning wand and clean the pins from side-to-side, on both sides of the circuit board.
Or alternatively, you can be a normal human being and use a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol. I'm sure that the recommended Nintendo way is technically the best way, but cotton swabs do the job just as well.
