I received this oddity from the same Sega Saturn import lot as tamagotchi park. Like most of the games included in that lot, this game was a mystery to me until the day I was able to run it on my Saturn.
Sotsugyou (graduation) Album, as it turned out, isn't really a game. It's more of a piece of bonus, behind-the-scenes software. From what I can tell, it's celebrating the anniversary of the "graduation" series of games. The disc features various viewable pieces of character artwork, as well as what appears to be interviews with the characters' voice actresses. Some of the contents on this disc are, well, let's just say very Japanese.
From what I understand, games from the "graduation" series are narrative adventure games where you play as a teacher, teaching problematic anime girls. The outcome of the story likely depends on the player's conversation choices and the decisions they make while teaching the students. It's kinda fucking weird. Like, REALLY weird. According to the series' wikipedia page, it's possible for the students to choose to marry the teacher... yeaah...
The series definitely isn't up my alley. I don't have any intentions to play the games or watch the OVAs. I moreso kept this disc because of how weird and fascinating it is. I'm also a sucker for that 90's anime art style. I'm not sure if it was some kind of giveaway disc or if it was sold in stores.
While my search hasn't been too extensive, I haven't really found much footage of this disc's contents online. One of these days I'll have to set up a capture card and upload footage to my bitview.
