The Dreamcast mouse, as you might guess, is a pretty standard ball-mouse that plugs into the Dreamcast's controller ports. It has a non-clickable scroll wheel, but it has a programmable button on its left side which makes up for it.

The only experience I've had with the Dreamcast mouse was in Quake 3 (which is proudly advertised on the back of the box). The mouse makes aiming 1000 times more bearable, especially when in tandem with the Dreamcast keyboard for movement. Aiming with the mouse is much better than using an analog stick. The skill gap in online Quake or Unreal matches must have been CRAZY, as you would have keyboard and mouse players up against players with a single-stick controller.
I haven't used this particular mouse, as it appears to be unused. While the box itself has been opened, the mouse is still within a plastic bag, the cable twist-tied, foam around the plug, and a piece of plastic covering the ball underneath the mouse.
I previously had a used mouse (which I used for playing Quake 3), but I had the opportunity to trade it up with a little cash for this unused one (which I didn't pass up).
