Sony's Playstation was a huge shakeup in the video game industry upon its launch in the mid 90's. While it wasn't the first CD-based home console, it was the first one to be a major success. Nobody expected the Playstation to be as successful as it was, let alone outdo the titans of the industry, Nintendo and Sega.
I obtained my unit for $40 from a game store back in 2015. The owners of the store were kind enough to also include the original crash trilogy with it, which was beyond amazing of them. At the time, those games were pretty much the only reason I wanted a PS1 in my collection.
In the table below, I'll mention if my copy of a game is a North American (NA) or Japanese (JP) copy. An asterisk* by the region will indicate that the game is exclusive to that region.
